St Helens Homestead, Hanmer Springs

The first aquatherm black underfloor radiant installation. Registered under the Historic Places Act 1980, and an original homestead established in 1858 on the Eastern Hanmer plain high country and built out of timber. 

Redeveloped in 1917, replacing the original timber with 31 centimetre walls of cream Hurunui Limestone for insulation against the extreme temperatures in the region.

New MIT Campus Manukau and Rail Link

The new MIT Campus is underway at Manakau City. The project is unique in many ways as it is the first new railway line connection in Auckland since 1930 and first campus being built over a major transport interchange enabling easy access to education and supporting the participation in the tertiary education for the people of Manakau and the broader Auckland area.

Estimating course aimed to fill void in plumber's training

Understanding this void in plumber’s training, Peter and Sean at Hydraulic Services Consultants NZ Limited have prepared a training course specifically aimed at showing plumbers how to accurately assemble tenders, and invite interested plumbers to register for the course.

Canterbury University

Canterbury University are in the process of undergoing a $1.2 billion facilities upgrade after the 2011 earthquake.  Currently aquatherm are supplying PPR Blue pipe in sizes up to 250mm for heating and cooling, PPR Lilac pipe for reclaimed water up to 125mm and  PPR hot and cold domestic water pipe for showers, toilet blocks and kitchen areas in sizes up to 125mm.

Natural Steps Early Childcare Centre - Apollo Drive

On the early hours on Sunday 21st July 2013 a fire devastated the Natural Steps Early Childcare Centre in Apollo Drive, Albany, Auckland, thankfully the building was unoccupied at the time of the fire.

Macrennie Construction were entrusted with the tightest of timelines for the rebuild process by Jan/Feb 2014,  so the centre would be up and running for the 60 children and families that daily use the facilities.

Manual Welding Device 50341 now with handle

The aquatherm manual welding device (1400 W) with the article number 50341 has been upgraded to include an additional handle in the future.

This ensures better handling for welding those larger dimensions and allows a higher pressurization when pressing the welding heads to pipe and fitting.  The handle is removable and can be mounted on the top or in front of the device.

Reducing Sockets

Aquatherm have released an inline female to female reducing socket....this will make main run pipe work size reductions, and bushing down in future very straightforward.

Available now in stock from sizes 40/32 through to 125/110 Articles 11222 through to 11265.

Introducing aquatherm's largest injection molding devices for formed fittings in XXL sizes

aquatherm Germany has successfully introduced one of the largest injection molding devices for formed fittings in XXL sizes.  These fittings will replace, over the year ahead, the need to segment large dimension PPR fittings.

Here is an example of 160mm formed 90 degree elbow in the soon to be released SDR 9 range of multi fibre hot water potable pipes.

New Pipe Clamp Rings from Walraven

Walraven have released a range of 316 Stainless pipe clamps specifically for PPR and PE pipes, dimensional suitable and smooth edged for sliding applications and ideal for installations where corrosive environments require clamps to perform.

Aquatherm Receives BVF Seal 

The Federal Association of Surface Heating and Surface Cooling i.e. (BVF) awarded the aquatherm GmbH the BVF seal for its surface heating systems “aquatherm orange system”.

This guarantees the contractors (builders, planners/architects, fabricators) that the company from Attendorn meets the extensive test criteria. These relate to quality features as production description and approval, for compliance with technical rules and legal regulations, product liability and warranty as well as to technical advice and support. The compliance with the criteria is supervised by a seal committee.
