Our newly refurbished aquatherm website is getting great feedback! The website showcases our newly rebranded products, services, and technical knowledge to you in an easy to navigate, clearer and informative manner.
We have some interesting projects underway throughout the country and you can view these below or on our website in the news section.
The ISH, which took place this year from 12th to 16th March, is the world‘s largest professional trade show for sustainable sanitary solutions and energy saving heating and climate technology. The leading international trade fair draws more than 200,000 visitors to Frankfurt am Main each year. 2,434 exhibitors, including domestic and international market leaders,display their products in the fully booked 258,000 square metres of space in the ISH exhibition halls.
At the start of the ISH, we presented our new brand strategy “Colours of Innovation”. One reason for this is that communication with the more than 70 international representatives is particularly important in this extensive changeover. As a leading international trade fair, the Frankfurt ISH offers the ideal platform because no other trade fair has such high value for the international market. Every third visitor comes from abroad. And the feedback on rebranding from international partners was huge.
The new orientation was viewed to be positive across the board. It suited us down to the ground that our stand gained plenty of attention, but it also impressed visitors when they took a second, more scrutinising look. Our customers and partners perceived the strong colour design and new system names as consequent, interesting and structure defining.

aquatherm flexi comes up trumphs in St Marys BayA continuation of Foreshore Plumbing's trialling of our new aquatherm flexi pipe system, this existing villa is typical of the old adage "worst house best street".
St Marys Bay, one of the first settled areas in the Auckland waterfront region is now one of the most desired and expensive suburbs in New Zealand.
VinLink Winery, BlenheimConstruction of the new multi-million dollar winery at Riverlands Estate, Blenheim was completed this year.
With a capacity of 13,000 tonnes, the 2013 vintage is already fully contracted. This is a great sign for Marlborough and an indication of a bright future for our industry (and wine lovers).
Tait CampusA $20.2m contract with a 14 month build time for Higgs Construction, ground floor of 4,300 m2 and total floor area 7500m2, the Tait Communications Campus is due for completion July 2014.
Christchurch Hospital Parkside refurbishment Major construction projects at Christchurch Hospital “Parkside” have been officially opened recently by Christchurch Central MP, Nicky Wagner.
A major challenge to the construction and Plumbing/ Drainage/ HVAC/ medical gas installing contractors (David Browne Contractors) was that level one of Parkside – the area directly under the refurbished level two contains 11 operating theatres.
Silver Fern Farms, Te ArohaWater conservation control at the fingertips is part of the impressive sustainable technology used in this $67 million replacement meat plant – the newest in the country.
Plumbing work inside the process building was subcontracted to Turfrey, Hawkes Bay – a Master Plumbers member with a long track record with meat industry projects and a long standing partnership with aquatherm NZ.
Manukau Institute of Technology (MIT), in conjunction with aquatherm NZ Ltd, are providing specialist training for all its apprentices and students over varying stages of their educational pathways.
MIT and aquatherm are committed to the ongoing technical education and best practice for industry students in PPR socket welding.
Pictured above is Darius Toginga receiving his MIT certificate in fusion socket welding, from Senior Lecturer Jim Roskvist. Darius has now completed stage 1 of the Aquatherm programme, installation. When he enters stage 2 of his apprenticeship training he will then be instructed in installation designs for DN 16mm to 63mm pipe and fittings, then in stage 3 larger diameter pipelines.
Aquatherm and MIT acknowledge that in order for quality installations, quality training also needs to be undertaken, not only from grass roots level but all the way up to hydraulic designers who specify the product.
