All the plumbing on site at this prestigious health project was completed in  green pipe and hose reels in aquatherm red pipe by W H Chenery.

The new Fisher and Paykel Healthcare project at East Tamaki Building 3 is the largest of their buildings at over 30,000m2 in footprint.  The building is designed to accommodate up to 600 people and will cater for  includes: Research and product development. Office and administration, Laboratories and workshops, Equipment production, Warehouse and distribution
Within the building there is a 8,000m2 Plant room Production Area which is the largest of its kind in New Zealand and indicative of the very high level of detailing and finishing required on the project. The production areas and support spaces are provided with a dedicated and secure Environmental Monitoring System (EMS) compliant with American Food and Drug Administration standards which is a requirement for one of Fisher and Paykel Healthcare’s major markets. The EMS ring fences and monitors the conditions and systems which may impact on the quality of the product being produced.

Aquatherm products were installed for HVAC services by Economech Services of Auckland,  consultants AECOM,  Economech processed as well all compressed air services and industrial cooling requirements. Pictured here Michael Gilmore - Economech Site Engineer for this project. The high level installation work on this project is of the highest standard along with meticulous plant room fusion processing. Well done guys.
