ZuRo - The new PPR extrusion facility in Attendorn, Germany

After years of planning and the passionate contribution of many employees, aquatherm has commenced the construction programme of a world leading PPR extrusion facility at their plant site in Attendorn.  This conception guarantees 2015 technology, maximum functionality, highest efficiency, environment-friendly technologies and optimum working conditions for the staff.

Today aquatherm employs approximately 500 dedicated employees and is represented in 75 countries around the world. An important reason for this success story is the constant development of marketable pipe system products. Innovation and growth are thus linked very closely with the system manufacturer to reliably meet the high expectations of customers and markets in the future and trendsetting expansion is essential.

The concept named ZuRo was given the green light by the management in May of this year. The existing buildings are currently being demolished and construction will commence in spring 2015.

The detailed manufacturing complex for pipe extrusion will have a total floor area of 15,000 square meters over 2 levels with a total capacity for up to 33 extrusion lines for the production of the pipe systems.
